Turkish company Skyart has been selected by Mexican University, Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, to manufacture an A320-321 1L & 3L door and OWE trainer.

The device will be used by Mexican flag carrier Vivaaerobus and installed in Monterrey. The device will be equipped with various features and malfunctions which educates the cabin crew on how to become proficient in the safe operation of the A320-321 aircraft type.

The device will be controlled via an easy to use touch screen instructor panel and LCD screens on the doors will create a realistic environment of outside conditions. This feature increases the situational awareness of the cabin crew during the practical training. The CIDS system will be the same as per a real aircraft and it will enable the cabin crew to evaluate their communication skills.
