A door trainer is a sectional mock-up of the aircraft’s main entry and/or emergency exit doors, allowing the crew to get training on a specific aircraft door type.
Genuine or 1:1 functional replica doors are used in the manufacturing of our devices.
Aircraft doors have a type-specific design. Therefore they have different opening/closing procedures. A cabin crew member must be provided with the specific safety training for the aircraft type(s) they are flying.
We offer two types of Door Trainers for each various aircraft models.
We offer door trainers as a “standalone” unit (just one door, whether the main door or an OWE), or a combination of multiple doors on one device (like the one shown on the above drawing). In other words “two-in-one” or even “three-in-one” devices.

Simply, they simulate the normal function of the aircraft door(s), as well as any possible malfunctions, so the crew are ready for any malfunction at all times.

All SkyArt Cabin Simulators feature “remote internet access” allowing our engineers to access the device remotely, so we can monitor the system health and diagnose any faults.
The A320 Door & Owe Trainer simulates door system operation both in normal and emergency conditions. There is a functional 1L door and 1 OWE in the device and the doors are replicas or genuine with simulated malfunctions. The device also includes cabin crew station, CIDS system and functional FAP.
A330 Door Trainer simulates door system operation both in Normal and Emergency conditions. There is 1 functional Type A door in the device and the door enables to practice in a realistic environment.
The B747 Door Trainer simulates door system operation both in Normal and Emergency conditions. There is 1 functional main deck entry door or upper deck door in the device and the door will be a genuine or replica with simulated malfunctions.
Embraer 170-190/ E2 190-195 Door & Owe Trainers simulate door system operation both in normal and emergency conditions. There is 1 functional 1L door and 1 OWE in the device and the doors are replicas or genuine with simulated malfunctions. The device also includes cabin crew station, CIDS system and functional FAP.
B737-800 NG Door & Owe Trainer simulates door system operation both in normal and emergency conditions. There is 1 functional 1L door and 1 OWE in the device and the doors are replicas or genuine with simulated malfunctions. The device also includes cabin crew station, Intercommunication system and functional ACP.
The A350 Door Trainer comprises of a fully functional main door equipped with various malfunction scenarios and comes with a section of simulated passenger cabin, seats, Passenger Service Units (PSU), overhead bins and a state-of-the-art Instructor Operating Station.
