CUSTOM TRAINERS

The primary purpose of this custom trainer device is to allow Kazakh Border Guard Service cadets to partake in fully immersive contraband searches and participate in realistic mock smuggling scenarios, thereby honing their practical interdiction skills.  

This simulator now forms a core component of the training infrastructure at the Practical Interdiction Training Territory (PITT) located at the Border Guard Service Academy in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 

The trainer device we built is not a simple replica; it is a highly sophisticated and fully immersive cabin simulator.  

To ensure the highest level of realism for training, the unit is equipped with a range of authentic features, including situation-appropriate cabin lighting, a fully functional public announcement system that can broadcast both live and recorded messages, and a critical emergency power shut-off button.  

Furthermore, the simulator is furnished with original cabin components,  

including authentic storage cabinets, lavatories, and cabin attendant stations, which are identical to those found on a legitimate in-service aircraft.

The core objective was to create a practical and efficient training solution for the staff of this major aircraft seat manufacturer, enabling them to perform practice runs and gain vital hands-on experience in installing seats for both Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 aircraft.

To meet this complex need in the most efficient way possible, SkyArt engineered a unique "hybrid" mock-up. This innovative design is the project's standout feature, incorporating two separate sets of seat tracks within a single, unified cabin structure. This allows the device to be fully compatible with the distinct cabin layouts and seat track designs of both the B777 and A330 aircraft.

As a result, using just one of SkyArt's state-of-the-art custom mock-ups, BE Aerospace staff can bring in two unique varieties of aircraft seats and install them on the relevant, aircraft-specific tracks.  

This ingenious hybrid solution provided immense value to the customer, delivering significant savings in both valuable factory floor space and project budget by eliminating the need for two separate, dedicated training units. 

The trainer itself was built to the highest standards of quality and durability. Manufactured per the client's precise specifications, it is a full-scale, 1:1 replica based on the aircraft manufacturers' original blueprints.  

SkyArt constructed the cabin using non-flammable composite materials to ensure safety and compliance.  

Furthermore, the underlying metal frame was efficiently powder-coated, a process that guarantees a long-lasting, sustainable economic life span for the equipment, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of daily training use.
