This is a geniune Fokker F27 Engine Nose Cowl taken from MSN10459 aircraft.

The aircraft made its maiden flight 10 May 1971. It is one of the longest serving aircraft of its kind.

It served 10 different operators.

Its flying life came to an end following a taxiway accident in Edinburgh Airport when it collided with a GPU truck. The operator decided to not to repair to damage due to high cost.

The aircraft has been stripped of useable parts and avionics. The fuselage was donated to Edinburgh Airport Fire Services for training purposes.

The colour and the artwork inside the nose cowl can be customised to your choice.
